Accordion Book

I wasn't sure how to really tackle this assignment, but I decided to go with the idea of text and image. I created my accordion book using the following steps:

1. Generate a list of 5-8 adjectives using this website or, if you have an alternate method, use it instead.
2. Illustrate each adjective using colored pencils or markers. Try to create letterforms that embody the adjective itself.
3. Pick a shape. Create four different sized versions of the shape (largest can go up to half the size of the height of the book paper, no more). Repeat the four sizes multiple times.
4. Cut out the words and the shapes.
5. With the words facedown, pick a random one to start with. Using the cut out shapes, try to illustrate the adjective by arranging the shapes as you may see fit. When you find something that is satisfactory, paste it into the accordion book.
6. Repeat step 5 until there isn't any more space left in the book. Different adjectives and illustrations may overlap with each other to create interesting compositions.
